Craig Gillespie Exits Lionsgates Pride And Prejudice And Zombies

EXCLUSIVE: Craig Gillespie is exiting Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, becoming the most recent filmmaker to leave behind the Lionsgate project. The screen adaptation ofthe Seth Grahame-Cruz novel mixes the 1813 Jane Austen classic having a legion of bloodthirsty zombies. To date, the film hasn’t had much luck with company directors, or casting for your matter. Gillespie, who directed the significantly acclaimed art house film Lars and also the Real Girl and adopted with Fright Evening, came onto the film after Mike Whitened left. Whitened had changed David O. Russell, who authored the script. The split here was friendly, but had related to such things as who to cast within the film. Casting continues to be tough on that one, and that i wouldn’t be amazed if Lionsgate doesn’t search for not just a director but a package from a company which includes cast too.
