Due To Its Next Reboot, CBS Evolves New Undertake The Rifleman
Chuck Connors Classic black-and-white-colored western The Rifleman may be raging its sometime ago onto primetime, with director Chris Columbus and CSI vet Carol Mendelsohn aboard. CBS is developing a new undertake the 1958 series, which infamously starred Chuck Connors as 1880s-era sharpshooter Lucas McCain. The up-to-date version will concentrate on Civil War vet McCain while he moves to New Mexico territory to enhance his boy, Mark, and eventually ends up joining forces getting a sheriff to guard his new hometown. The Rifleman signifies a crossroads of two major trends this development season, since the systems chase after western projects and series reboots. Laeta Kalogridis (Avatar) and Patrick Lussier will write the completely new version and executive produce.
